Hybrid Telehealth Model: Schools are equipped with advanced tools (audiometer and vision acuity software) controlled remotely by credentialed school nurses.
Simplified Setup: A school or office assistant facilitates the setup of equipment and calls students from the classroom, enabling a seamless process. Importantly, no healthcare license is required for the assistant, making this model highly efficient and easy to implement.
Telehealth Expertise: Credentialed school nurses manage the remote screenings, ensuring precision and quality for both vision and hearing Screenings. Nurses remotely adjust audiometer settings to screen at the necessary frequencies and control vision acuity software to conduct vision screenings at the required distances.
This hybrid model not only streamlines the screening process but also addresses staffing challenges.
